Paris

On our first day in Paris, we woke up in our beautiful Parisian flat and walked downstairs to one of the cafe's to have a light French breakfast. We ordered coffee with milk and a fresh baguette with blueberry jam and butter. After breakfast, we strolled through the narrow Parisian streets, crossed the bridge, and entered into Saint-Germain-des-Pres.

Here you can find fresh markets, trendy boutiques, and open cafes. The air had a aromatic smell of all the cafe's cuisines coming together. We couldn't help it any longer and we ate at this perfect quaint cafe where I had the best sausage with frites.

After lunch, we turned into the main plaza where we found the most delicious gelato that we've ever tasted. At this point we were in complete euphoria, and lounged here for a good part of the afternoon.

Later on we ended up at the Notre Dame where we hopped on a boat and sailed through the Seine, when we got to the Eiffel Tower, we got off and had a romantic picnic at the lawn.

We stayed here until the sun went down. I know it all sounds made up, but it really happened.

Paris was truly the romantic city that every one talks about. Paris will not disappoint.

Oh Paris!! No other place like it. If I close my eyes I can smell the coffee and bread. Great pictures!

Brings back beautiful memories. We did exactly the same thing. Romantic picnic on the lawn. Relax and watch the sunset in front of the Eiffel Tower. C'est la douce vie!
